Joshua Garnett Jersey
Kyle Shanahan and company looking at another big WR?"On Thursday morning Joshua Garnett Jersey , the Stanford Cardinal held their Pro Day. John Lynch, former alumni, was on hand. As was head coach Kyle Shanahan. There were plenty more names that you’ll recognize on the San Francisco 49ers staff. Wide receivers coach Wes Welker was present. Offensive assistant Katie Sowers was with Welker, too. Lastly, special teams coordinator Richard Hightower was there as well.Hightower is likely looking at Stanford punter Jake Bailey. Bailey averaged 44.1 yards per attempt in 2018. WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside is probably the player that the team was keeping an eye on. Arcega-Whiteside is 6’2, 225 pounds. He’s a very good athlete that was miscast at Stanford. He should have a much better career in the NFL. He also ran a 4.49 at the Pro Day today. As a receiver, Arcega-Whiteside moves a lot better than you would expect for a player his size. He’s a good route runner that can also go up and get it. Seems to be a perfect blend at the position for what Shanahan covets. Watch these four routes against Oregon:A bigger guy that can win the contested catch situations, but can also run away from you. Everyone was waiting to see what his timed speed was. There it is.We’ll keep you updated if any of his shuttle drills are leaked.Mike McGlinchey expects to play Sunday vs. Cardinals The San Francisco 49ers offensive line took some hits this past week against the Los Angeles Chargers Womens Dante Pettis Jersey , but the unit appears to be making progress for Week 5 vs. the Arizona Cardinals. Left tackle Joe Staley, right tackle Mike McGlinchey, and center Weston Richburg all missed Wednesday’s practice, but McGlinchey and Richburg appear set to get some work in on Thursday.McGlinchey told the media before practice that the MRI on his knee came back clean, and he expects to play on Sunday. Richburg did not miss any snaps last week, but a knee injury had him banged up. The 49ers will release their official practice report in an hour or so, but it would appear both McGlinchey and Richburg will be listed as no worse than limited.Staley is the kind of guy who can get limited practice in and still be cleared for the game. My guess is he will get a DNP or limited designation on Thursday, and then a limited designation on Friday. If he is unable to play on Sunday , Garry Gilliam would start in his place.Richard Sherman is back at practice, but his status is up in the air. He was ruled out fairly quickly last week, and the expectation was that he would probably miss this week’s game. Sherman spoke to the media on Thursday before practice, and would not rule out being able to play. He said he would practice on Thursday and they would see how things develop from there. My guess is he doesn’t play on Sunday, but he is pushing for it.Marquise Goodwin did not practice on Wednesday as he was dealing with hamstring and quadricep issues. The team will already be without Dante Pettis on Sunday, so getting Goodwin back would be big for depth on the outside. We’ll have the full injury report later this afternoon or early evening.
